As a Pet Bather / Grooming Assistant, you make a difference in the lives of pets by providing customers with an upscale pet styling experience to improve the look and feel of a pet’s physical appearance.
Responsibilities
Here is what a day in the life of a Pet Bather \ Groomer Assistant would look like:
□ Bath animals and provide other services as directed by groomer.
□ Use good judgment and alert groomer of any anomalies that a dog may have.
□ Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
□ Provide all pet guests with kindness and respect at all times.
□ Speak authentically about products and services offered at The Paw Depot.
□ Educate guests in the benefits of our holistic approach to feeding and caring for pets.
□ Maintain a clean work area.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move animals and items that weigh more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be comfortable around animals.

Experience
Pet Bather / Grooming Assistant Qualifiers:
□ Must be 18 years or older
□ At least 12 months of pet bathing or grooming experience preferred.
□ Passion for dog bathing and the well-being of pets.
□ Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered at The Paw Depot.
□ Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
□ Time Management
□ Ability to clean and stock work area.
